Westport Commercial is a boutique mortgage broker specializing in commercial real estate, as well as residential fix & flip.

A mortgage broker, working on behalf of borrowers, serves as the bridge between borrowers and lenders.
We seek out lenders that can provide the best financing for our borrowers, whether they're a small business owner, a first-time investor, or a veteran owner/landlord.

We describe ourselves as boutique because we're a specialized shop with fewer than 20 team members.

Michael James

Michael James launched Westport Commercial in 2015 to help property owners and investors obtain the best financing for their real estate. Prior to founding the boutique mortgage brokerage firm, Michael worked in commercial finance for a private real estate investment trust (REIT) for eight years and spent seven years involved in the hedge fund world.
